Yellow Fever Vaccination
A Yellow Fever vaccination may be a mandatory requirement for entry into or re-entry from certain countries, in line with Australian Government regulations and international travel requirements.
Seaford Heights Medical Centre is a licensed Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, meaning we are authorised to administer the vaccine and provide the official certification required for travel documentation.
Important Information
Vaccinations can often be started in advance, as some require a course of doses given over a number of weeks. Even if you are travelling at short notice, it is still important to seek advice as early as possible, as some protection is better than none.
The yellow fever vaccine should ideally be administered at least 10 days prior to travel to ensure full protection and certification validity.
Before Your Appointment
When attending your travel health appointment, please bring:
- Any previous vaccination records or history
- A completed travel itinerary (if available)
- Any relevant medical history or medication list
